Working in Linda Gallery

During my time at Linda Gallery, I was primarily responsible for managing the gallery's day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth coordination between staff, clients, and artists. Beyond the daily rhythm of gallery duties, I also had the opportunity to be deeply involved in larger-scale projects that extended our presence beyond our traditional exhibition space.

One of the most significant projects I worked on was a pop-up exhibition at Paragon's Level 1 space, a high-traffic, commercial venue that allowed us to reach a broader, more diverse audience. For this pop-up, I was involved in everything from concept development and logistical planning to on-site execution and client engagement. It was a fast-paced, high-stakes environment that required flexibility, creative problem-solving, and close collaboration with both the gallery team and external vendors.

This experience not only refined my project management skills, but also deepened my understanding of public engagement strategies in contemporary art spaces outside of traditional white cube settings. It was a rewarding challenge to translate Linda Gallery's identity into a dynamic, open-space format—one that merged curatorial intent with retail visibility.

In addition to my work on exhibitions, I was also involved in supporting Linda Gallery's auction operations. Although I initially had limited knowledge in this area, I quickly adapted by observing industry practices, asking the right questions, and taking initiative to learn on the go. I assisted with key aspects of the auction process, including catalogue preparation, bidder coordination, and administrative support during live events. This experience sharpened my ability to work under pressure and honed my attention to detail, especially in handling high-value transactions and liaising with clients and collectors.
